Dr. Siu Challons-Lipton

Carolyn G. and Sam H. McMahon Professor of Art History, Noble Faculty Fellow, Distinguished Faculty Fellow.
Dr. Siu Challons-Lipton is Executive Director of the Art, Design and Music Department at Queens University of Charlotte, teaching Art History at Queens while continuing to lecture internationally. She is also a member of the board of collectors of the Mint Museum in Charlotte, and is a grant reader for the National Humanities Research Center. She supervises and supports this blog as a student-run initiative, and serves as the founder of this project.

Astrid is a student of Art History at Queens University of Charlotte and published poet (read more here) currently serving as a Gallery Assistant for the Department of Art, Design, and Music, with ongoing projects focusing on liberal arts education at Black Mountain College. She edits and reviews all content submitted for publication while maintaining the blog. She is the blog’s first student contributor.
